It was a great day for the green and gold as our Girls U10 and U12 teams both brought home decisive victories Saturday in the AHAI Girls state championships held at the West Meadows Ice Arena The U12's defeated Glenview 5-1 and the U10's also defeated Glenview by a score of 6-0 in front of large crowds.
"These girls have been a pleasure to coach. We played a schedule that I believe really prepared us for this tournament. We played our best hockey of the year." added U12 Coach Mike Glass.
U10 Coach John McAdams added, "Since all these girls play on other house and travel teams, we focused on improving their individual skills in practices and it showed today."
